4/26 - Leaving Cupertino@8:30- Stevens Canyon to Mt Eden, Pierce Right on H9, cross skyline towards Boulder creek, R 236 thru big basin lunch stop BC Bear creek, Skyline home.

5/3 - Leaving Lexington @ 8:30- Old Santa Cruz , Schulties, R on Summit continue down Highland, Eureka Canyon to Corralitas. Return same route

5/10 - Leaving Cupertino @ 8:30-the Spring Nugget Ride- with trail boss Andy.

5/17- Leaving Andronicos @ 8:30-Magdelena, R. Stonebrook past quarry, wind around and I forget the rest to Moody, L. Pagemill, Skyline to Kings and home.

5/24- Meet @ Quimby @8:30 Ride to Top of Mt Ham, descend San Antonio Valley to Branding Iron Tavern-refuel- return same route.

6/7- Stans (Rehosted) Los Gatos L'onerous Grades Ride @ 8:30. I've taken off the rough edges (i.e. no Aztec Ridge this time) changed the starting location, and 
kept all the 'best of the rest'. It's 29.8 mi, 3700' of climbing, 2 hr 50 min actual riding time at a casual training pace. We'll do Cypress/Blackberry Hill, 
Kennedy, Santa Rosa, Glenview, backside of Hicks and Shannon to return. No real water stops available on the route, so 1.5 to 2 tall water bottles recommended 
depending on the warmth that day. An 0830 start at the Peets Coffee on the far end of Lunardi's shopping center, intersection of Blossom Hill Rd and Los Gatos 
Blvd (a.k.a. Bascom). 3:00

 

6/14- Leaving Andronicos @ 8:30- Foothill, L @ Alpine, R @ Portola, OLH, West OLH, 84, To San Gregorio Store, Tunitas, L. on Lobitis Creek cut off back to Tunitas, Down Kings Mt. home

Several long sustained climbs and pace line work out to San Gregorio Store

6/21- Leaving Lexington Res @ 8:30- Waynes new and improved Redwood Estate/Tooth Root ride. Route details to follow.

Several Steep climbs with Liz Wallers thrown in for fun.

6/28- Leaving Sport Basement SF @ 8:30- Cross GG Bridge L to Headlands- then Thru Sausilito to Mt Tam (details to follow), Home I forget the rest

7/12- Leaving Andronicos @ 8:30- Foothill, Arastradero, Alpine, Portola, OLH, down 84 continue to Kings Mt, R. on Skyline, down 92 home.

7/19 Leaving Andronicos @ 8:30- Foothill, PageMill, West Alpine,Haskins, Pescy, food stop at Pescy Store continue on Cloverdale to Gazos Creek, Ano Nuevo,Return same route

Several nice sustained climbsgood recovery ride for the DEATH RIDE

7/26- Leaving Andronicos @ 8:30-SBobs Dead end Ride- Up Kings Mt., Down Tunitas Creek, L on Star Hill Rd. Continue on Star Hill Rd to end. U turn Back to Swett Rd, ascend Swett Rd rejoin H 35. South to Bear Gulch West. West on Bear Gulch to gate. U-Turn back to H35 south to Page Mill or optional detour to Portola State Park off W. Alpine, Home.

Sounds like a lot of climbing to me.

Notes:
* For rides going south meeting point is at Cupertino Bike Shop at 8:30, arrive early enough to
  leave at that time.
* For rides going north - meeting point is at Andronico's at 8:30 during the winter months.
* The group can decide to modify the route, if required, on any
  given Sat. but please dont modify route for first 30 minutes of ride.
* Weather dictates distance and duration. Major rain cancels.
* Regrouping at the top of all climbs.
* First & last 30 minutes of each ride are no hammer zones!
