Tuesday and Thursday evening rides start at 6:00pm from the
Outfitter!
old stuff ....
We've scheduled the Voler fitting session for Nov.16th at my house again. Everyone wear clean
underwear and Dino; you wear 2 pair just in case. We'll try and get started at 7:00 pm and let John
and Linda move through their presentation and get them on the road ASAP. They have a long drive home.
Here are directions and my address:
1537 Belleville Way
Sunnyvale, CA.
Phone: 408-733-5044 (if you get lost).
Belleville Way parallels the 85 Freeway, between Fremont and Homestead Roads. It is the first street
west of the 85. If you are on the 85 going either north or south, you can exit on Fremont Ave. If you
are on 280 north or south you can exit on Foothill
Expressway and head north to your first right which is Homestead rd. Follow that around the Chevron
station to the first light which is Belleville way and take a left. I'll leave the light on. Pizza,
Beer and wine and other carbs and veggies will be served.

Round Table Pizza is in the shopping center on the south west
corner of El Camino & Grant, in the left corner near Smart & Final and
behind Burger King.
Joe has looked into getting a camelback-like Hydration pack that would
match the back of a club jersey. It would cost somewhere around $60-70.

Fellow SCCC members,
I have inquired with Voler as to fall deliveries and if we act quickly we could get more Short sleeve jersey like items by mid to late September. We wouldn't make minimums on Long sleeve items and Bottoms unless someone comes up big....with an order that is. Here is my list of people that have requested additional clothing. If something is wrong with items or quantities, please let me know.

Hey ...some of SCCC team members are meeting for a thursday
evening ride .... 6:00pm at Bicycle Outfitter in Los Altos. .... enjoy the
pain!!
The San Jose tuesday evening twilight series is starting May
4th! It looks like the same place as last year. (Hellyer Ave area). This is a 2?
mile circuit, with a small hill & a strong headwind. There should be ~4
months of racing! Remember you must join SJBC to do the ride. (you can be a
member of them & still race for SCCC) This costs $40 for the year, but you
can do the twilights, plus a number of late/early season training races. Then
it's $5 a race. A number of us have carpooled down in the past, post to the list
if you're interested. If you want to make your first night go smoother, you can
register on line or by mail. www.teamsanjose.org
The new threads are really nice. Definitely makes you
faster. Got lots of compliments from other clubs on the road.
Everyone make sure you thank Kevin for all his hard work on this.
